Difference between animal cell and plant cell

• Here we will see the 7 point of difference between animal cell and plant cell .

 

 1. PLANT CELL :

             (I) In plant , cell wall is present which is made of cellulose.

            (II) Chloroplast and plastids are present.

           (III) They are immobile i.e. they stay at one place.

           (IV) Vacuoles are large and more in number. 

            (V) Cytokinesis occur by cell plate method. 

           (VI) Golgi complex is indistinct. 

          (VII) Nucleus is located at the periphery of cytoplasm.

 

2. ANIMAL CELL :

             (I)  In animal , cell wall is absent .

            (II) Chloroplast and plastid are absent .

           (III) They are mobile.

           (IV) Vacuoles are small size and less in number.

            (V) Cytokinesis occurs by constriction or furrowing.

           (VI) Golgi complex is distinct and lies near the nucleus.

          (VII) Nucleus is located in the centre of cytoplasm.
